R & D Station Fee $60.00 per vehicle (Cash, Money Order, or Cashiers Check)

R & D Does Not Come To the Vehicle

7:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Vehicles need to be on premises by 11:30 AM in order to be inspected.

Vehicles may be dropped off prior to the day of inspection for your convenience.

Vehicles will be stored in well lit, secure fenced area at no extra charge.

FOR SALVAGE TITLE INSPECTION, YOU WILL NEED:

• Vehicle or motorcycle repaired, unpainted. Do not put any uncoat on welds. Must be towed.

• Pictures of vehicle in damaged condition

• $118.00 to GA Department of Revenue. Money order, cashiers check or personal/business check. NO CASH. (This fee includes title application fee)

• $60.00 Station Fee to R&D Cash, Cashiers check, money order, personal or business check

• MV-1 Form Completed (Application for Title)

• Original Salvaged Title

• T-129 Form Completed (Labor & Parts Certification) This form must be notarized. We notarize at no additional charge.

• All Original Parts Bills for parts purchased to repair the vehicle

• Hold Harmless Form Signed

• Copy of GA Rebuilders License.

FOR OUT OF STATE REBUILT INSPECTION, YOU WILL NEED:

• Vehicle

• $118.00 to GA Department of Revenue. Money order, Cashiers check, personal or business check. NO CASH. (This fee includes title application fee)

• $60.00 to R&D. Cash, money order, cashiers check, personal or business check.

• MV-1 Form Completed (application for title)

• Original Out of State Rebuilt Title

• T-22R Form (Request for Inspection)

• Hold Harmless Form

• Copy of Owners Georgia Drivers License

• Out of State Rebuilt Vehicles can be driven to station if have proper insurance & registration

FOR CUSTOM MOTORCYCLES & REPLICA KIT CARS:

• Vehicle or Motorcycle in completed condition

• $118.99 to GA Department of Revenues. Money order, cashiers check, personal or business check. NO CASH (This fee includes Title Transfer fee of $18.00)

• $60.00 to R&D. Cash, money order, cashiers check, personal or business check.

• MV-1 Form Completed (Application or Title)

• Original MSO (2 on motorcycles – one for frame and one for engine case)

• T-129 Form Completed and notarized. We will notarize at no additional charge.

• All Original Parts Bills to build vehicle or motorcycle.

• Hold Harmless Form

• Copy of Owners Drivers License

• Motorcycles must have speedometer and horn

NOTE: We DO NOT keep any copies in our office. All titles, forms, etc. are given to the inspector and hand deliver to DMVS in Atlanta. We recommend you make copiers for your Records. We make copiers for $.25 each. Department of Motor Vehicles # 404-965-3800, we do not have any other telephone number. Common Reasons Vehicles are Rejected: Air Bag light does not self test (light must come on then go off with ignition in or position), worn tires, broken door handles, custom exhaust can not be turned down under vehicle.
